Educational Leadership

The doctoral program in Educational Leadership at D'Youville prepares educational professionals to meet the social, economic, political, and cultural challenges now confronting educational institutions and society as a whole.

Students in the Educational Leadership program explore trends in educational research and theory, and engage in critical evaluations of the increasingly complex policy context of education. Students hone their capacity for leadership through careful analysis of the practice setting and its context.

Through their work, the program’s distinctive applied research practicums, and the dissertation, graduates become leaders who are uniquely able to use theory, research, and evaluation to improve the quality of education, ultimately serving the public good.

Inspired to make a difference, our students lead through research-based advocacy.
