From nurses to retail, the Scholarship for Essential Workers is designed to show our support for those who are doing so much and to help frontline workers advance in their careers.
Whether you’ve found more time to earn your degree or you’re ready to take your career to the next level, this scholarship is here to support you.
If you meet the criteria for the scholarship, we’ll provide you with $2000 a year as an unrestricted grant to apply towards your undergraduate tuition.
D’Youville's programs are designed around meeting the demands of our community from healthcare to business, with our graduates earning some of the highest early-career salaries in WNY.
At D’Youville, you’ll discover small class sizes, faculty that work one-on-one with students, and a wealth of support designed to help you succeed inside and outside of the classroom.
D’Youville’s Scholarship for Essential Workers is an unrestricted grant for incoming, undergraduate majors, applied in $1,000 increments to each qualifying semester, up to $2,000 per year, to pay tuition balances. To be eligible, applicants must demonstrate they are a worker deemed essential during the current state of emergency and stay at home orders; register at D’Youville as half-time or more (minimum 6 credits per semester); complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA); and work with D’Youville’s Solutions Center to determine eligibility for other federal, state, and private grants, scholarships, and loans.
